We are so excited to visit your blog and to see what YOU create with our sketch!

Hey there!   I hope everyone survived Thanksgiving.  It's Rita here with a fun new sketch for you this week.   I see banners everywhere these days, so I thought it might be fun to add a few to our cards this week.  It's a good way to use up a few pieces of those scraps we all hoard save.  The rest of the card is up to you.  Layer it up, go CAS, and add whatever shape inspires you.  Keep it clean and have fun!

We have a few simple rules to keep things fun and fair for all of our players:
  1. Please use any crafting product you would like to use.
  2. Feel free to combine our sketch with up to THREE other challenges.
  3. Please add a DIRECT link to your blog when adding your card to the linky below.
  4. Please include our sketch and a link back to Freshly Made Sketches on your post.
  5. Have fun!
This challenge will end on Monday at Noon (PST). On Tuesday, we will be announcing the winner of this week's sketch challenge who will known as the "Queen of Clean" and each Design Team Member will choose one "Princess".

Winners For Sketch 62

The Clean Team has chosen the Princesses for you this week and Jen has chosen her Queen!

The Queen of Clean: Sue
Little Bits of Randomness

A big thank you to everyone who played along with us this week.  Once again the gallery was full of fantastic cards and lots of inspiration.

It was a lot of fun to see Sue's Valentine in shades of pink and brown in the gallery this week.  The embossed hearts background is the perfect complement to the striped and polka dotted patterned paper.  And her fun scalloped heart just sparkles with a tiny rhinestone!  Congratulations Sue, you are my pick for Queen of Clean this week!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for a new challenge from Rita!

The Queen of Clean: Lori Tecler
Inking Aloud

Another amazing week in the Freshly Made Sketches gallery!!  I am so grateful for the inspiration that comes from seeing everyone's creations!  Thanks to all who played along with my sketch!

I had such a hard time choosing a winner out of all the fabulous work but I kept coming back to Lori's card over and over.  The lovely neutral colors that have just enough pop are wonderful.  Those trees are so perfect for the season!  Lori's corduroy ribbon layered with the twine is a super final touch.  Congratulations Lori, you are my pick for Queen of Clean this week!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for a new challenge from Jen M!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Jennifer T. here with your sketch for the week.  I thought it would be fun to use a basic sketch with lots of room for creativity.  Watercolored images, large sentiments, lovely designer papers...all of these can work for this sketch!  The gallery every week is so amazing so I can't wait to see your interpretations!

Winners For Sketch 60

The Clean Team has chosen the Princesses for you this week and Tui has chosen her Queen!

The Queen of Clean: Jen Nelson
The Tiny Blue Butterfly

Wow …  thank you so much for joining in the fun with us this week, what an incredible pool of talent we had gracing our gallery – so much creativity and so much inspiration made it so much more difficult to select just one card.

And, that card was this amazing creation by Jen …. Not only do I love this sentiment but her beautiful floral piece so simple in design yet packs a massive punch with her subtle colouring and use of white space.  The washi tape adds another bold feature and I just love the black contrast against the stark background.  Clean and fabulous … Congratulations Jen, you are my pick for Queen of Clean this week!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for a new challenge from Jennifer!

Freshly Made Sketches #60 - A Sketch by Tui

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches!  Each week, one member of our design team creates a sketch for you to try, the twist is to keep your project clean-lined and fresh!

Hi, Tui here!  Well as you know the fish-tail banners are everywhere and so very popular with the paper crafting community … as I love them myself, I have created a sketch with those banners in mind.  Please feel free to use them or substitute them if you wish, the choice is entirely yours.  I love your creativity and can't wait to see what you come up with!

Winners For Sketch 59

The Clean Team has chosen the Princesses for you this week and Cindy has chosen her Queen!

The Queen of Clean: Amy Moore
Amy's Art from the Heart

Thanks to all of you who played with my sketch in the challenge this week!  If you looked at all of the entries, then you know it was pure torture trying to pick only one queen.  But, I just kept going back to Amy's Snowmen card.  Amy's coordination of papers and colors are awesome and those adorable snowmen made me smile every time I looked at this card.  I love how she "popped" them on the scalloped circles, too.  Congrats, Amy, on being Queen of Clean this week!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for a new challenge from Tui!
